The purpose of the educational web page is to give you as an American Society for Quality (ASQ) - San Diego Section 703 member the latest information and links to the various quality training courses & workshops available here in San Diego County including other professional training courses, workshops, and online courses by the National ASQ, other ASQ Sections and local education/training institutions.
We (American Society for Quality (ASQ) - San Diego Section 703) volunteers and elected are dedicated, committed and very proud of our "Continuing Education and Certification Programs" in service of our Community and Quality Profession.

Special Training:
This page lists the scheduled Workshops, Seminars; Related Professional training that is not certified refresher training
courses listed under certification. These are offered for your professional development and for credits to maintain your
certifications.
Certification:
This page gives you the information & links to choosing which certification to apply for and the scheduled courses available
to help you prepare prior to the exam date. We offer local San Diego classes and links to other ASQ sections and online course
for you to choose from. This page gives you the link to the national ASQ certification web site to answer all your certification
questions.
Recertification:
This page gives you the information & links on how to and what you must do to recertify to maintain your current certification(s)
up to date.
Refresher Course Instructor:
To be an Instructor you need to be currently certified in one or more ASQ certifications, an active member in an ASQ section
and to be approved as adjunct profession at National University (NU) to use their facilities. You will receive instructor
credits of 0.15 RU per hour of instruction and paid per hour of instruction. To apply contact the Education Committee Chair

Refresher Course Coordinator/Instructor:
To be a Coordinator/Instructor is the same qualifications as instructor plus your duties while be to:

Certification Exam Proctor:
To be an Instructor you need to be currently certified in one or more ASQ certifications, an active member in an ASQ section
and available to work on the Saturday of the examination from 7:00 AM to 1:30 PM.
Proctor duties are:
